We had the privilege of developing a complete database solution for SDL Numismatic Properties, a prominent Gold and Silver Coins Company with locations in New Jersey and Hilton Head. This project aimed to modernize their operations, enhance customer relationships, and provide robust tools for managing their inventory, sales, and communications.

Key Features:

• Full CRM (Customer Relationship Management): The system includes a comprehensive CRM module, allowing SDL Numismatic Properties to manage their customer base efficiently. This includes detailed contact information, communication history, and recall dates to schedule follow-up calls.
• Payments and Invoices: I integrated a payment processing system that enables the company to manage invoices and payments seamlessly, improving their financial tracking and management.
• Shipping Tracking: The solution includes a shipping tracking feature that enables SDL Numismatic Properties to monitor shipments in real-time and provide accurate information to their customers.

• NGC Coin Price Tracking: Through API integration, the system can fetch and display real-time NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation) coin prices, helping the company stay updated with market values.
• Document Generation: The solution allows SDL Numismatic Properties to generate invoices and end-of-year reports with ease, saving time and ensuring accuracy.
• Detailed Broker and Location Reports: Custom reports provide valuable insights into sales performance, customer behavior, and inventory status, helping the company make data-driven decisions.
• Real-time Chat: A built-in chat system facilitates real-time communication between SDL Numismatic Properties and their customers, improving customer service and support.
• Phone System Integration: The solution integrates with the company’s phone system, offering features like pop-up notifications for incoming calls and one-click dialing for enhanced communication efficiency.

Migration from Legacy System:

This project presented an additional challenge as we needed to migrate over 40 tables of data from a DOS-based telematic database solution dating back to 1984. This required developing custom solutions to ensure a seamless transition. We meticulously imported, transformed, and performed consistency checks on the data to ensure data integrity and historical continuity.
